All Leaves Must Fall
Leaves must fall in the proper season;
it’s part of the Master’s plan;
it isn’t our place to determine a reason;
such isn’t the province of man.
The tree of life; in the garden, planted;
created leaves in life’s image;
these leaves of life had freedoms, granted;
children of the Master’s lineage.
Each leaf was created separate and unique;
no two of them were exactly the same;
no leaf, among them, can judge or critque;
other leaves, made in the Master’s name.
Each leaf is created with it’s own season;
all must remain faithful and steady;
both life and death; each has its reason;
only God, knows when we’re ready.
There are reasons for the life of each leaf;
ones, only the Master can know;
all endure sorrows, storms, and grief;
for that’s what makes them grow.
Each leaf must fall within its own season;
it must not fall on its own;
all timing must be the Master’s decision;
for God calls his leaves home.
All things are designed in a unique way;
the tree of life isn’t a stump;
until their time comes; leaves must stay;
they’re created to fall; not jump.
