Many times, a problem comes about;
the answer is frequently the same;
the cause for it remains in doubt;
for, “I’m not the one, to blame.”
Many will not accept accountability;
they’d rather pass it on to another;
but, all need to accept responsibility;
not, blame a sister or brother.
In life, all make, countless mistakes;
embarrassment, floats its cloud;
wisdom of the Master is what it takes;
to admit your mistakes out loud.
Guilt is the cloak, all of us wear;
perfection, none possess;
heavy is the coat of guilt, we bear;
from guilt, we must undress.
As long as guilt remains deep-seated;
our problems stay the same;
what we’ve done, is likely, repeated;
and, our silence is to blame.
Each of us holds our own secret
till into heaven, we’re brought;
we won’t be able to keep it;
since heaven is a kingdom of thought.
Accountability is difficult to master;
but, discovery is certain to come;
tho confession brings it much faster;
it allows you and God to be one.
