A Time To Die

Life is a multi seasonal adventure;
usually lived over many seasons;
God acts as both judge and avenger;
never without acceptable reasons.

Into each life, adversity must come;
though sometimes it’s in disguise;
from weakness, within; many succumb;
for all have been caught by surprise.

But, failure and defeat are not the same;
defeats, often lead to success;
winning or losing, are not really germane;
it’s learning, while under duress.

None ever learn to walk, without falling;
potholes abound on each life path;
whenever you feel your character, sprawling;
remember: it’s about love; not wrath.

Demonic thoughts, cloud every decision;
evil pursues our every step;
only the Master has perfect vision;
upon seeing our evil, He wept.

Many turn to the Master, and feel saved;
but they were never really lost;
before their death, they remain depraved;
but the Master already paid the cost.

Each life span is designed for a season;
where souls learn to laugh and cry;
learning to love is the primary reason;
for, love was not born, to die.
