A Shadow Called Death
Many often speak of the shadow of death;
but exactly what does it mean?
The soul will never experience last breath;
for death is but an illusive dream.
Only the body, both breathes and dies;
the soul, itself, is made of energy.
A soul cannot die; even should it try;
for it’s comprised of God’s synergy.
A shadow is something blocking the light;
darkness, being shaped like the obstruction;
perhaps the Aura of the spirit is in sight;
causing massive light reduction.
The real shadow of death, relates to man’s fear;
when he senses that life’s end is impending;
much like when, after dark, a shadow appears;
and we fear a form of danger, descending.
Death holds a universal fear among most;
considering it like a shadowy stranger;
just as many, at night, have fear of ghosts;
the approach of death, denotes danger.
Many who’ve approached death and returned;
speak of a bright Light, ushering them, in;
joy, peace, and companionship, they discerned;
they lived on and came back, before journey’s end.
Often in this life, we tend to focus on our fears;
and entering such brightness, on our own;
we may well mistake that shadow that appears;
the love of your life; come to welcome you home.
