A Mythical Kingdom

Each of us lives in a world of our own;
by our very thought, it’s defined;
a place, for a season, we call our home;
until, by death, we’re declined.

Many brothers and sisters joined us here;
to live and breathe for a season;
our faith has given us power over fear;
once we’ve discovered life’s reason.

Sometimes this life is considered a journey,
tho it’s really a realm of discovery;
once banished from God’s realm of eternity;
death takes us into recovery.

In heaven, death came as a flash of light;
removing us from the garden of birth;
to a mythical kingdom of endless night;
an illusion of light called earth.

This mythical kingdom is not as it seems;
an illusion of everyone’s thought;
we have all crafted this world of dreams;
in contradiction to what God taught.

Some of us look toward the heavens above;
as though heaven occupies space;
others are seeking the Father of Love;
hoping to receive God’s grace.

God’s kingdom includes all of reality;
this mythical kingdom lies within;
more proof of God’s creation of duality;
in death; we are all born again.
