A Moment In History

Today is merely a moment in history;
it holds no lasting significance;
although tomorrow remains a mystery;
both are pictures of magnificence.

We look on reality as movie screen;
each day, a marching parade;
often it appears much like a dream;
when, in reality, it’s a charade.

We hold our breath, awaiting tomorrow;
but tomorrow will never become;
each day holds both victory and sorrow;
as all todays morph into one.

All days are pictures of yesterday;
resting on an infinite mind;
in our thoughts; they’re again today;
for time is of the divine.

Thoughts in the Master’s infinite mind;
become pictures for man to address;
all thoughts, from the beginnings of time;
resolved into consciousness.

God created all lives to eternally become;
a wondrous realm, devoid of time;
consciousness brings all together as one;
God’s kingdom is love, sublime.

Today is merely a moment in history;
meant to be eternally repeated;
tomorrow remains an unending mystery;
it’s the day time is defeated.
