A Moment

Every moment lasts for a lifetime;
it’s a carefully contrived endeavor;
sometimes it serves as a lifeline;
for a lifetime lasts forever.

We think a moment is come and gone;
but that simply isn’t so;
all moments, forever, must live on;
for it has no place to go.

Now we have mixed time and space;
and that is a natural confusion;
for time actually has its place;
it’s not really an illusion.

Time is a folder to store information;
a moment of time is simply a file;
to gain an event’s specific location;
that place, a moment, is the while.

If you find this logic very confusing;
let us more clearly define;
in order to discover what you’re losing;
you limit it to a specific time.

The very moment you parked your car;
your mind put that moment on file;
the moment filed by where you are;
and the memory, your mind can compile.

Every moment of our life, we live;
the time file recalls where we are;
even if my mind, leaks like a sieve;
time helps me find my car.
