A Matter of Life Or Death
Death is an invisible energy ocean;
from mortality; new life enters in;
life is eternity; in constant motion;
it has no real beginning; or end.
In the beginning of life’s eternal cycle;
life’s energy, sprang from the deep;
Death’s advocate, became God’s rival;
and life was transformed to sleep.
Darkness had fallen in the kingdom of Light;
a demonic rebellion was brought;
man was exiled with the lord of the night;
forsaking the love, God wrought.
Rebellion began in the garden of birth;
started by one, next to the throne;
all prodigals were sent down to the earth;
only Love could bring them home.
God commanded that all love their neighbors;
shunning all pride and greed;
the followers of God sought special favors;
demanding far more than their need.
Many see God as a personal puppet master;
a genie, granting their every wish;
waiting to bail them out; in every disaster;
while feeding the multitudes fish.
Many seek forgiveness with their last breath;
while others try praying and fasting.
But, God didn’t create life; to end in death;
life was created to be love; everlasting.
