A Life Of Failure

Most seek a life full of significance;
success, becoming their goal;
conflicting with One of omniscience;
creator of their eternal soul.

Many let their conscience be their guide;
the success they seek, eludes them;
while lust and pride, remain deep inside;
successful ventures, exclude them.

Others have decided to let it all hang out;
while seeking the fruits of their lusts;
for they have determined what life’s about;
becoming people, undeserving of trust.

Truth, to them, is whatsoever they say;
lies can advance any circumstance;
light is the truth that comes in the day;
darkness tends to put all in a trance.

Success gained, in the eyes of the world;
achieved by nefarious means;
exposed by the light of truth, unfurled;
is not success; so it seems.

This kingdom is evil and filled with flaws;
hate sits upon its throne;
Truth, like an eagle, has talons and claws;
love is his nest and his home.

For those who love Truth; and to it, aspire;
evil successes have little allure;
the meek shall inherit this earth, on fire;
in spite of a life of failure.
