A Gift Of Purpose

A Gift Of Purpose

Perhaps I’ve lived beyond my time;
not becoming who I’m to be;
failed to accomplish my soul’s design;
and, only purpose can set me free.

My body and spirit seem now separated;
with my thoughts floating in air;
no longer that being, the Master created;
my body, here; my thoughts, there.

My soul is in torment; wanting to move on;
my body and spirit, diminished;
my soul won’t allow that my body be gone;
my role in this life isn’t finished.

I’m an integral part of the Master’s plan;
His purpose I’m destined to fulfill;
knowledge, was within, when all began;
I am a fragment of the Master’s will.

I may be a period, at the end of a sentence;
or a comma, denoting hesitation;
completion of my role, proves my repentence;
and, my love provides conformation.

Purpose is the gift, God has given to each soul;
with the talent, required, to carry it through;
if you’ve been unable to discover your role;
ask the Master; he will whisper it to you.

The Master’s plan includes each mundane role;
tho we can’t understand where it’s going;
it brings enlightenment and elevation of the soul;
for all plants of life must keep growing.
