A Fate Worse Than Death
A Fate Worse Than Death
Most fear death more than anything;
this life; to them; is priceless;
but there is a certain spice death brings;
life; without death, is spiceless.
Life, without death; is never ending;
even a movie can last too long;
death ushers in a new beginning;
no one likes an unending song.
Death is not the end of a life;
it’s only life, turning a page;
death ends sorrows and strife;
ask any wise man or sage.
Of the many fates, in life, we face;
death should be among the least;
it allows a new life to take its place;
death is more like a feast.
Death is a natural process; like sleeping;
the onset of an unplanned nap;
a natural death is no cause for weeping;
all, who die, will come back.
Death is not to be taken by our choice;
life and death; are from God alone;
death must come from the Master’s voice;
God chooses when we come home.
Death is the conclusion of physicality;
ultimately it’s God who will reign;
if we choose death as our fate and reality;
we may have to live it over again.
