A Bird Without Wings
Few are as helpless; as I seem to be;
unable to avoid pendulum swings;
in signs of trouble; I’m unable to flee;
I’m like a bird, without wings.
I very rarely, can see trouble coming;
and yet; I know that it’s there;
at the sign of trouble; I keep running;
although I can’t decide where.
It’s difficult to live in three dimensions;
life was to become our dream;
only eternity could meet God’s intentions;
consciousness; the living stream.
Earth was the lower realm of a duality;
while heaven was the garden above;
man thought earth was the only reality;
and heaven was the kingdom of love.
God sent his angels for man’s protection;
wings allowed them to travel below;
though man’s pride, led to insurrection;
man was sent to earth; to grow.
God sees the sparrows that fall;
do the angels also die;
could birds be angels; after all;
since most birds can fly.
Angels are invisible; when they fly;
created to be servants of kings;
I’m no angel; you’ll know, when I die;
I’m like a bird, without wings.
